Short version: we collect only what we need to confirm your booking and get you to the water. Your name, email, and phone — nothing more. We don't sell it, we don't use it for ads, and the only person we share it with is your instructor so he knows you're coming.

1. Who we are

LokaSurf is run by a single founder. When you book a lesson, you're dealing directly with one person — not a corporation, not a call centre. Any question or request goes to lokasurf.team@gmail.com and you'll get a real answer.

2. What data we collect and why

Name So your instructor knows who's showing up on the beach
Email address To send you your booking confirmation and one follow-up message after your lesson
Phone number To coordinate day-of logistics with you and your instructor via WhatsApp
Payment data Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe processes everything.
Photos / video Only if you share them voluntarily after your lesson. See section 5.

That's it. We don't use cookies for tracking, we don't run analytics beyond basic site traffic, and we don't build profiles on you.

3. How we use your data

We do not send newsletters, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not contact you again unless you reach out first or book another lesson.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not share it with anyone not directly involved in your lesson.

5. Photos and video

If you share a photo or video with us after your lesson — through the review process or by tagging @lokasurf — we may use it on the LokaSurf website and social media. We will never sell your image. If you want a photo removed, email us and we'll take it down within 48 hours, no questions asked.

Your instructor may also capture moments during your lesson. If you don't want to be filmed, just tell him before you get in the water.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your booking details (name, email, phone, what you paid) for as long as legally necessary for accounting purposes. If you ask us to delete your data, we will — unless there's a legal reason we can't.

7. Your rights

See your data Ask us what we have on you and we'll tell you.
Correct it If something's wrong, we'll fix it.
Delete it Ask us to remove your data and we will, where the law allows.
Withdraw consent If you gave us permission to use your photos, you can take it back at any time.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make changes, we'll update the date at the top. As LokaSurf grows and we add tools or a team, we'll update this document to reflect reality — accurately.
