LokaSurf is a booking service that coordinates a private surf lesson between you and an independent local surf instructor. LokaSurf does not employ the Instructor, who delivers the lesson directly to you.

We do not provide surf instruction directly. The quality, safety, and execution of the lesson is the responsibility of the Instructor. If something goes wrong, we want to know about it immediately.
A booking is confirmed only after LokaSurf verifies full payment, availability, and the booking request, then sends the lesson details — including meeting point and time — via WhatsApp or email. A Stripe checkout return page by itself is not proof that payment or the booking is confirmed.
Bookings are subject to availability and ocean conditions. The Instructor has sole discretion to assess whether conditions are safe for your lesson on the day.
Before submitting the online booking form, the adult participant must explicitly accept these Terms and the Waiver & Release of Liability. Both documents apply.
Every LokaSurf lesson includes: surfboard, pre-water beach practice, in-water coaching, and transport to the surf spot where required. What's not included: wetsuit (not needed at Lombok — tropical water, 28–30°C), food, and any personal expenses.
The lesson price is €40 EUR. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — the amount shown on this site and at Stripe checkout is the definitive lesson price. If your bank card or payment provider is not based in the Euro zone, your bank or card provider may apply its own currency conversion or international transaction fees; those are outside LokaSurf's control.
LokaSurf reserves the right to update pricing. The price shown at the time of your booking is the price you pay.
Refunds due under these Terms are processed through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
The online booking form is only for the adult participant, who must be 18 or older. To arrange a lesson for someone under 18, a parent or legal guardian must email lokasurf.team@gmail.com and provide explicit written consent before any request or payment is completed.
The Instructor is an independent contractor and is not employed by LokaSurf. The Instructor is responsible for their own equipment, compliance with local regulations, and insurance where required by local law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LokaSurf's total liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount paid for that specific booking. LokaSurf is not liable for personal injury, loss of property, or other damages arising from surf lesson participation, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct by LokaSurf directly.
All content on lokasurf.com — text, images, video, logo, brand, and the LokaSurf name — is owned by LokaSurf. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of it without explicit written permission.
Photos, videos, reviews, or tags do not automatically give LokaSurf permission to use your image or content for marketing. We will ask for separate permission before publishing it. You may withdraw that permission for future use by contacting us.
LokaSurf collects only the data required to process your booking. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms as the business grows. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated Terms.
LokaSurf is currently run by a single founder — it is not a registered company. The lessons booked through LokaSurf take place in person at Kuta Lombok, Indonesia, so anything concerning a lesson is subject to the local law of Indonesia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly — and we strongly prefer to resolve things directly — will be handled accordingly.
